How To Use Your Minerals

Foundation
1. Start with clean, dry, moisturized skin. Let your moisturizer soak in. Tap small amount foundation into lid. Swirl your kabuki brush in the lid evenly distributing product onto brush. Lightly tap brush handle on edge of lid to slightly settle foundation into brush.

2. Starting on forehead, brush softly in circles all the way to hairline, down nose, and temples.

3. Tap another small amount into lid, repeat process on cheeks, nose, chin, jawline, neck, and chest if desired. Apply make up in light layers until your reach your desired coverage level. (Estimates of how long foundation will last  are based on 2 layers and concealing per use.)

4. Don't forget to brush in circles over eyes, down neck, and around ears as you are working on the other parts of the face for proper blending.

5. Using your small concealer brush, use the leftover product in your lid as concealer. Dab brush in the foundation and tap off excess. Start in center of area to be concealed and brush/pat outward, blending well. You should do your concealing in light layers until you reach your desired coverage level. Use your kabuki brush to blend a little more if needed using a very light touch.

6. Apply your contouring powder on desired areas. This step is optional, directions for this step are listed below.

7. Finally, apply setting powder in a light layer all over face and neck.

Contouring Powder
Contouring Powder is used to shadow away certain areas of your faceto create slight reshaping. If you have a:

round face – Contour the outside of face in front of ears from top cheekbone to jawline. Suck in cheeks and contour the darkened area that shows up under the the apple of cheek and cheekbone.

oblong face – Contour top of forehead and tip of chin.

long nose – Contour tip of nose.

wide nose – Contour two lines, one down each side of bridge of nose. Leave center of nose uncontoured.

1. After applying foundation, tap a very small amount of contouring powder into lid. Swirl your contour brush in the lid evenly distributing product onto tip of brush. Tap off excess.

2. Pinching the bristles of your brush together, brush lightly on the desired area until a slight shadow effect occurs. It is important to keep product only on desired area.

3. This is one of the few times that you do not want to blend your product. Do not use too much contouring powder at once to keep your look natural. You may layer contouring powder; however, stop when you see a light shadowing effect.

Blusher
1. Tap small amount of blusher into lid. Swirl blusher brush in product and tap off excess. Apply blusher to apple of cheek for a more natural look, or keep working upward along the ckeekbone for a more dramatic effect.

2.You can apply the mineral blusher in layers to control the intensity level.

Eyeshadow
1. Tap small amount of eyeshadow into lid. Swirl eyeshadow brush in product and tap off excess. Apply base eyeshadow shade onto eyelid up to but not beyond crease of eye. Apply highlight shade from crease up to brow.

2. You can apply the mineral eyeshadow in layers to control the intensity level. Tip: Apply with wet eyeshadow brush for a more dramatic effect.

Eyeliner
1. Tap small amount of eyeshadow into hand. Wet your eyeliner brush and swirl wet brush into product. Apply along
lashline for creative and long wearing eyeliner. Tip: Let liner on top lid dry before you open your eye to do bottom lid.

Also, your favorite blushers and eyeshadows can be mixed with clear nail polish for matching fingertips.
